Who am I?

My name is Kevan Fulton. I deliver the class and run this website. I have had my own mindfulness practice since 2006 and it has changed my life. I feel a lot more in control and I have a sense of purpose and direction. I feel a lot more connected to people. I feel a lot more relaxed and comfortable in myself. I definitely haven't always felt like this. Lucky me!!!

For my day job I work as a Clinical Associate in Applied Psychology for NHS Ayrshire and Arran. As well as one to one therapy I offer Mindfulness groups to NHS staff and patients. I have been doing these for about three years now and I find it to be one of the most rewarding aspects of my job.

I am very passionate about mindfulness and making it available to anybody that wants to learn about it is important to me. I don't want it to be something that you have to have lots of money to access. I don't want it to be something that only spiritual or religious people get to experience. I strongly believe that anybody can benefit from it and with a little bit of practice you can experience radical changes in how you lead your life. You can also benefit by simply learning to take 5 minutes and centre yourself without any radical life changes!

In my experience the thing that people struggle with most is maintaining their practice over time and this is a critical element in sustaining the benefits of it. Hence the nature of the class, so that people can drop in and out as they need it.

Here is a list of retreats that I have been on.
